The upcoming Mercedes-Benz E-Class was spotted in Pune. The car will be produced at the company’s Chakan-based facility in Pune, utilizing Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits.
It gets revised front and rear bumpers, large LED headlamps, and LED tail lamps. The front fascia gets a single-slat grille with chrome surrounds, flush-fitting door handles, and two-tone alloy wheels.
The new E-Class LWB gets a 3,094 mm long wheelbase, which is 15 mm longer than the existing version. It measures a length of 5,092 mm, a width of 1,880 mm, and a height of 1,493.
Mercedes-Benz is planning to introduce the sixth generation of the E-Class in India in a LWB variant (long wheelbase variant), which will be directly competing with the recently launched BMW 5 Series LWB.
