The 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL680 Monogram Series with new front and rear fascias, a Maybach grille, splashes of chrome trim, and Maybach-specific 21-inch wheels.
Buyers can choose from two colour schemes – Red Ambience and White Ambience – each combining the respective core colours with an Obsidian Black upper section that covers the bonnet and bootlid.

The new Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 interprets the iconic silhouette of the SL in a unique way. Exclusive details give it an unmistakable Maybach treatmenthe SL roadster has been given the Maybach touch on the exterior with an illuminated grille, rose gold accents on the headlights, fancy windshield frames finished in gold, and big 21-inch wheels for that extra bling. The distinctive bonnet bears an upright Mercedes star and a chromed fin running front to rear along its centre.
The SL features multiple Maybach logos, like a Louis Vuitton bag. Buyers can also have this optional pattern painted on the hood – handmade by one of Mercedes-Maybach’s artisans.

Inside, luxurious crystal white nappa leather features on the door panels, centre console and two seats. A new floral design has been used in the upholstery and the seat backs are finished in contrasting silver chrome. There is a digital instrument display and the adjustable central screen comes with Maybach-specific start-up animations and display styles. The 2026 Mercedes-AMG SL63’s buckets received extra padding to make them plusher for the Maybach version of the SL. They also get a special Maybach leather design and Mercedes’s Airscarf: vents at the base of the headrests that can blow warm air on your neck to help keep you toasty during top-down cold-weather drives.
The Maybach SL 680 is powered with a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 that puts out 585hp and 800Nm of torque, with no hybrid assistance whatsoever. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission feeding power to all four wheels through Mercedes’ 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system.
The 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL680’s suspension has been retuned for a softer ride, the sound level has been dialed down with added sound-deadening insulation and a new, quieter exhaust system.
The Maybach SL 680 can sprint from 0-100kph in just 4.1 seconds.
Mercedes Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series: Will It Come to India?
Deliveries in Europe will begin next year, and the unique offering will likely reach the Indian market by late 2025. Mercedes is yet to reveal the prices of the Maybach SL 680. It is expected to be costlier than the Mercedes-AMG SL 55, currently priced at Rs 2.44 crore (ex-showroom) in India.
